Seven Solutions can deliver the best-in-class synchronization for datacenters. Thanks to the White Rabbit time synchronization ecosystem, core synchronization networks can be deployed to provide plug&play sub-nanosecond timing links to top-of-the-rack devices.
For intra-datacenter deployments, the solution allows high-accuracy distribution of a time reference (GNSS or other UTC reference) across the datacenter with a minimum impact on the time information. Then, the White Rabbit ecosystem supports the most extended synchronization mechanisms and protocols, as IEEE 1588-2008 (PTPv2), NTP or Pulse Per Second (PPS), for interoperability purposes.
White Rabbit is the reference of the new IEEE 1588-2019 High Accuracy (HA) profile and it is compatible with this new technology, allowing the deployment of next generation time synchronization networks for finance, telecom, broadcast or gaming applications. For inter-datacenter time synchronization applications in metro area scenarios, White Rabbit devices allow nanosecond-level synchronization using dark fibers, DWDM or CWDM networks.
